Convento das Bernardas Charming - Tavira

Beautiful place, amazing pool. Apartment very comfortable and very well equipped.

Beautiful courtyard. Short walk to restaurants and amenities.

Communication was confusing. Apartment had some quirks that took getting used to.

The soft furnishing were very dirty, mould was along bathroom grouting and one large wall had signs of mould. The place had a wasp infestation that stopped us accessing the the top bedroom and bathroom. I will be requesting a rebate for the stay.

De vaatwasser was defect

The conversion of the Convento is very impressive. One of our party who was in the business appreciates particularly the outstanding detail and contemporary features. The design over three floors was unusual and effective and the smaller bedroom on the top floor with ensuite was delightful! The provision of deck chairs by the entrance was also very much appreciated. Outstanding looking pool in a beautiful setting with plenty space in the central courtyard. The provision of air conditioning throughout was most welcome too.

We had expected to meet the Representative at the big door of the Convento but found that not to be the case. However it was all resolved after a phone call or two. Although the lovely pool was much enjoyed by our party we did see larvae and small insects in the pool and suspect these may have been mosquitoes as one of our party was bitten quite severely.
