Cuillrigh - Luxury house, loch & mountain views

The location and views were amazing! The house was very cozy and had everything we needed. We liked coming home at night and making dinner in the well stocked kitchen.

Google took us to the wrong location. We were very close, but I had to use the notes in the email to find it.

Loved the open plan living and the property was a comfortable temperature the whole time we were in the house.

Enjoy a comfortable and convenient for family stay just a 10-minute drive from the heart of Portree in this modern, well-equipped cottage offering panoramic views in all directions. Spacious open-plan living room and kitchen, perfect for relaxing or entertaining. The house has decor from local craftmen, which was charming. Upper floor features: A large children's bedroom with a skylight and breathtaking views over Portree Bay. A generous study with a TV—ideal for work or quiet time. The master bedroom is conveniently located on the lower floor with large closet space. Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including a dishwasher. Separate laundry area with a washing machine and dryer. Cozy up by the heater with ample firewood provided. We were lucky enough to witness the Aurora and stunning starry skies on two clear nights—it was an unforgettable experience!!!!! The host was very responsive to our question and help. They also provided a much thoughtful soda ,cake and Scottish biscuit on arrival for us!!!! Whether you're in Isle of Skye for adventure or relaxation, this apartment offers the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and scenary.

Everything was good. I prefer a hard mattress and my bed was soft for my preference ....!!

We recently stayed at this accommodation on the beautiful Isle of Skye, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable, providing a welcoming, homely feel that made it easy to relax after exploring the stunning surroundings. The hosts clearly put thought into ensuring guests feel at home, and we appreciated the small touches that made the stay enjoyable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others looking for a cozy base to explore the Isle of Skye. With a few adjustments, this property could be perfect for any season.

However, there are a couple of areas for improvement. The plumbing, particularly the toilet flush system, could use some attention. It wasn’t a major issue, but it’s something that could enhance the comfort of future stays. Additionally, the driveway leading to the road could be better suited for all weather conditions. During our winter visit, icy conditions made it quite challenging to navigate, especially for guests unfamiliar with driving in such situations. A little sanding or gritting during colder months would go a long way in making the property more accessible.

Stunning modern and spacious property just a few miles out of Portree. Great facilities and even got to see the Northern Lights from there during our stay. Lovely host who was extremely helpful. Highly recommend this property.
