"Nice place, poor management"

Comfortable and modern

The staff at Stay MacKenzie. Long story but their communication was contradictory (was the house really cleaned??) or ignorant (said would inspect broken washing machine but didn’t nor did they update us).

"Filthy!"

Nothing

Thick layer of dust everywhere and a grease layer all over kitchen (just to mention a couple of problems), then a comical excuse for why (see pics). This place was not cleaned anywhere near sufficiently and was the worst place we stayed in over 3 wks in NZ. We felt taken advantage of as tourists and would not recommend

"Superb"

This property is very lovely.

The only drawback is bathroom is approached via master bedroom. If you are a group of people who are friends maybe awkward to use the main bedroom. We have people of 4 and have to use other two bedrooms which are far from bathroom.

Lovely space, everything in good condition, clean and easy check in/out.

Kitchen was well equipped except the non stick pans have seen better days and there is no silicone/wooden spatula, so that probably explains it!

"Very comfortable stay in a good location with great facilities"

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and everything we needed. It was in a nice, quiet location and the WiFi was great.

Some of the glasses and plates etc weren’t clean and we had to wash them before use, and there were quite a few squashed bugs on the ceilings, but other than that the apartment was clean and welcoming.

"Tranquil Twizel"

Well appointed house close to shops and restaurants. Not too far from Mt Cook NP

The bed in the master bedroom was too hard for our liking. It would be good if the bins inside matched the 4 bins outside

"Pleasant"

Dirty mugs in the cupboard, chunks of something on the floor and the table, not enough pans to properly cook for 5 people. Charged 3% on top of the advertised price for CC and as an alternative given only 1 day for an international bank transaction to clear. Managed by an agency.
