It was Amazing!!!! The house is so beautiful and comfortable and clean amd peaceful...it had everything we wanted.The staff is very friendly and Jane is a super host!!!! We enjoyed our stay 100% .We will go back for sure!!!.

First of all, a massive thank you to Jackson and Lili that always ask in the morning if everything was ok and they always stop for a little chat about their culture. Then thank you for the Masai who always protect the house in the night! The private pool was very veryyy beautiful and Jane was very helpful at our check in

Well it’s not something that personally didn’t like cause we love animals but maybe people who don’t should know that Jane’s dogs (who are very very cute and friendly) are able to open doors and come inside the house 😂

Abbiamo prenotato questa struttura per 8 giorni, ma siamo stati costretti ad abbandonare l’abitazione 3 giorni prima della scadenza. Già al check in la casa si presentava in pessime condizioni igieniche: asciugamani sporche piene di macchie, polvere in abbondanza, divani e sedie esterne piene di macchie e porte fatiscenti con zanzariere piene di buchi (che in Kenya è un assurdità). Dopo qualche giorno di soggiorno al rientro da un escursione abbiamo trovato un topo all’interno del cestino dell’ immondizia. Facevo presente la situazione alla proprietaria la quale mi assicurava che si trattava di un inconveniente mai verificatosi. Il giorno dopo prima di andare a letto ci siamo accorti della presenza di un altro topo all’interno dell’abitazione. Contattavo, pertanto, la proprietaria comunicandole che per me era impossibile dormire in queste condizioni e chiedevo che mi venisse fornita un’altra sistemazione o rimborsato parte del prezzo. Nonostante le numerose telefonate e i continui messaggi, la stessa pur essendo online si rifiutava di rispondermi e solo 3 ore dopo (01:00 di notte) si presentava nell’abitazione in evidente stato di alterazione, dichiarando che le mie lamentele erano frutto di immaginazione, nonostante che quanto lamentato era comprovato da dettagliate foto (che allego alla presente recensione) e dalle lamentele degli ospiti dell’abitazione accanto. Sicuramente è stata la peggiore esperienza da ospite della mia vita. La proprietaria è lontana anni luce dalla concezione di turismo e gentilezza nei confronti degli ospiti. La sconsiglio vivamente!

Villetta accogliente e ben arredata. Siamo stati una settimana e non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Staff (jackson e lilian) super gentile! Il quartiere è tranquillo e nella via per arrivare in spiaggia si incontra sempre qualcuno che saluta e bambini con cui fare qualche parola. Esperienza indimenticabile!

Un po di formichine in cucina. I cani della padrona di casa che la notte entravano nella villetta, aprendosi le zanzariere da soli. Comunque nessun danno o problema!

La villa es fantástica, tiene todo lo necesario para que la estancia sea perfecta. Jane es muy servicial y su empleado Jackson también nos ayudó muchísimo! Sin lugar a dudas es un sitio recomendable.

Aunque Jane nos avisó que vendrían a limpiar la piscina todas las mañanas a las 7 de la mañana, cuando nos despertamos a las 9:30 ya no esperábamos encontrarnos a nadie, pero aún estaban limpiando aún la zona de la terraza. Justo me estaba cambiando y me asusté al ver a alguien y sentí falta de intimidad. Creo que un punto a mejorar sería intentar realizar las tareas de mantenimiento cuándo los huéspedes no estuviesen en la habitación, ya que nos sentimos un poco invadidos.

We spent 3 relaxing nights at Jane’s place, and really enjoyed ourselves. We both enjoyed the outside space the most, and actually spent most of one day just lounging in the sun & listening to the trees sway in the wind. The place was clean & everyone we met were lovely. Watamu in general was a great place & we definitely recommend having sunset drinks/dinner at Lichthouse. You will probably need tuktuk/bodaboda to get around. Someone in the reviews earlier had shared a number to a boda-driver, which we used and were super happy with!

The outside cushions and pool would benefit from a deep clean. And it’s good to be aware there are (friendly & calm) dogs on the premises, that do love to try visiting guests - and they are able to open the doors to the apartment, as we found them inside a few times. My partner is a bit scared of dogs so took him a while to relax around them.
