Stay in Westow

Easy parking, great space, big enough kitchen, beds comfy and separate WC .

Kitchen not designed well, couldn't reach top of cupboards. Nothing was a complete set. Cutlery didn't match. Only 2 saucepans. No bowls or bake ware. Shower flooded. Broken sidelight.

Lovely idyllic cottage, great facilities. Perfect for a family of 6. Beautifully furnished.

Very detailed directions forwarded in advance. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. Due to traffic and heavy rain we were much later arriving than expected. We were able to order a takeaway from the pub downstairs ‘The Blacksmith’s Arms’ the food was absolutely delicious (we ate there the night after) and the staff are lovely and friendly. My husband said it was the best steak and ale pie he’s ever eaten (and he should know, he’s eaten a lot of them over the years)

Nothing other than perhaps a fan in the bedrooms.

There was no breakfast. I expected some milk in the fridge to make a cup of tea. That was very disappointing as there were no shops near. It would have been good if the pub offered a breakfast of some sort. We had to drive to Malton to get a coffee and breakfast. 5 miles away!!

The mirror in the bathroom was over the bath not the sink!!

It was very clean and comfortable. The staff where very friendly and accommodating. Its absolutely gorgeous this time of year too with the lovely garden . Definitely recommend to anyone .

Great place to base yourself to adventure around the area. Only 1 pub nearby for the evening and you must book if wanting food.

Back double bed room is above the boiler, all night you could hear this and when someone was using the water you’d get an even louder noise. Also a note to ask us to place all used bedding and towels into a bag downstairs, thought this was a little much. Wouldn’t expect to be asked to strip bedding on our exit, especially not for the price we paid.
