Crystal Lodge with Hot Tub

The Lodge was very spacious, clean with everything you could need readily available to use. Check in details were given to me the day prior to arrival and they were easy to follow. It is a beautifully decorated lodge which feels homely.

If I really had to nit pick, the only thing I can think of is how open the decking is to everyone else where the hot tub is situated.

Lovely location, quiet neighbours, clear communication. Loved the hot tub and everything we needed was there.

Main bed needs a new mattress. Very uncomfortable. Bit excessive asking guests to strip beds aswell before leaving.

The property was not the property we booked, there was an issue with the hot tub so we were given a different property being 15 green which was clean, the hot tub was clean but not very good I have used better. The request for a deposit 24 hours before was not budgeted for and came as a surprise. The regime for cleaning when leaving made the relaxing stay less relaxing as we felt we needed to clean after our stay, surely this should be built into the price (cleaning). Some facilities did not work properly, the fire did not work. The fridge had no milk tray and therefore milk laid on its side leaked so we had to clean the fridge, the freezer needed cleaning and defrosting. The lock on the bathroom door had been tampered with leaving sharp edges which one of the kids caught their finger on. Tv was small, the dishwasher and kitchen sink smelt from the drains. Beds were uncomfortable .

As above we did not feel it was value for money which is a shame as the site is very clean and quiet. Apart from the field where there was a lot of debris and a bonfire which could do with cleaning up.

Location great to explore the area. Lodge nice, roomy, hot tub great addition

Quite cold during the day in the lodge, unable to control the heating but lovely and warm when it came on in the evening.

The layout of property was lovely. Roomy and lots of room. Great decor and good facilities. Provided washing up liquid cloths etc

The water in the showered in ensuite was too hot, unable to use. The counter top was painted black and damage to this There was an out of date loaf of bread in cupboard. One corner of the hot tub didn't have jets that worked. The pillows were uncomfortable and no option for extras if needed. Did not have all beding for sofa bed or towel and pillows No WiFi, no password provided. Raided this concern but not resolved and handy man trampled mud through Lodge. Sofa bed not comfortable and stains on underside of mattress Expected beds to bed stripped before leaving which then exposed duvay which had stains. Due to the length of our stay And struggling to get hold of staff just for the WiFi did not have time to get extra towels and made do with them, luckily we brought extra and had to use duvay with no cover
