Crystal Lodge with Hot Tub

Facilities and size of the property were excellent. To have a separate large dining room and 2 bathrooms was a bonus as a family of 4. We are already looking at rebooking for 2024.

Nothing I can think of, you cannot blame the property for the rubbish weather we had during our stay.

The lodge itself was lovely. But sadly our trip felt ruined due to 2 power cuts while there. One on the night time leaving us totally lost as there was no out of hours number for us to contact. This was really disappointing especially having 3 children with us. The guy who we did see round the site was lovely. However after contacting the owners after to discuss the problems we had no reply whatsoever. This was really disappointing. Like i say nice lodge but definitely wouldn't be going again due to these issues.

The lodge was very spacious, clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The hot tub was great for relaxing after a busy day exploring the area.

The only thing we didn't like was paying the deposit of £200 in advance, we would have respected the property without this and it make us a little on edge not fully being able to relax.

Great location for visiting the surrounding areas. Malton is a lovely town and we also visited Scarborough and York. Flamingo land is also very close by although we didn’t go. The lodge was lovely, clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Italian Restaurant Florios in Malton was excellent and we had a lovely breakfast in Chapter One Bistro. We also had a lovely take away from the local Chinese restaurant, the Queens Head.

Facilities were great, hot tub was a hit with everyone, very well kitted out.

The constant emails and messages reminding me to 'leave the lodge clean' alot of do's and dont's to the point that we were afraid to spill a drop of water out of the hot tub. Staff could do with learning some more customer support and be a bit more relaxed.
