the location and quality of the property were outstanding. we (2 of us) had a car, so the host met us at a free carpark in the new part of town and took us into the Sassi in his vehicle and arranged a suitable time to collect us at the end of our stay - it was all very easy even though there was an italian/english language barrier! I would be happy to stay in this property again.

A lovely home with the bedroom in a loft. Spacious. Great location, a couple of minutes and up some stairs to the main square. Clean, good WiFi. Payment in cash. The host is fantastic, provides for all your needs be it an umbrella or an adaptor and takes the trouble to pick you up and drop you, after your stay at the station. Efficient and a warm, friendly person.

With a very pretty interior, free parking information and pick-up service, it is the best place to see the Matera Sassi area. I definitely want to visit again with my daughter. thank you. ^^♡

Central location, very clean home, bathroom and kitchen additions provided to make it feel like a hotel stay,exceptional host who assisted us and even fetched us to and from our bus stop.

Excellent location. Room is unusual, but typical of the area, a real experience. The room is very well appointed, someone has really thought of every little touch that made it very comfortable. We absolutely loved it. Highly recommend.

The only recommendation I would make is to better explain the parking situation for guests. We did not know ahead of time that we would be parking a 10 mins drive away and then getting a ride with the host to the accommodation. So when we followed the directions to the parking and were told to bring all our belongings and get in the host’s car, we were confused and a little nervous. The host spoke no English and we don’t speak Italian, so it took some Google Translate to understand that he was giving us a ride to the accommodation. Once we arrived at the accommodation it was very clear why we needed to park further away and take the ride. The location is incredible.
