Curragh House Lodges

Veronica (host) was an absolute delight. Unfortunately, we had some issues with luggage at the airport so were unable to arrive at the home until 10 PM. She was very accommodating and met us with a smile and walked us through the homes. What an amazing experience to wake up in such a beautiful space. Each house was beautifully decorated and walking the property we met horses and cows and llamas!! Just a quick drive and we were able to enjoy Kinsale. We also spent an evening with locals and the pub just down the road! I would absolutely recommend adding Curragh Homes to your stay in Ireland.

Clear instructions on getting to the lodge and a very warm welcome on arrival from Veronica and the dogs. Slept like a log for the 3 nights which is rare. Beautiful location, perfect for exploring the area. Absolutely loved our stay.

The perfect country retreat! The Curragh House was one of many stops we made on a two week adventure across Ireland and it might have been the best! Lovely all around.

Everything was fine

The view from our patio was gorgeous. The owner left a nice bottle of wine and we watched the sunset from the patio on top of a hill overlooking horses on the beautiful Irish countryside. The accommodations were professionally decorated and currently built on the site of a farm with alpacas, horses, and three friendly dogs. We enjoyed the fully appointed kitchen with the oven. Sometimes when traveling we enjoy cooking our own meals as a break from eating out.

The property was hidden somewhat from the road. Better signage from the main road would have been helpful. Once we were on the property, we were pleased by the modern farmhouse accommodations.

I can't praise this place enough. Our stay was truly wonderful and memorable, thanks in no small part to our amazing host, Veronica. The location is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. If we hadn't planned so many sightseeing activities, we would have happily stayed and enjoyed the tranquility. The lodge exceeded our expectations—it was impeccably clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through this part of Ireland.

The Curragh House Lodges are located on a bucolic farm setting with the most stunning view of the lovely countryside. Veronica, the hostess, was friendly and gave us all the info we needed. This was a unique lodging that we will remember fondly.

We found the water pressure and the temperature gradations were a bit challenging.
