What a fantastic property! We were greeted personally and given all of the information that we needed. The property was lovely and the location (between Kinsale and Cork City) was perfect. The small village center has a convenience store, petrol station, coffee shop, chippy, and a small pub. We loved interacting with the family dogs and horses. We would not hesitate to return.

The only suggestion that I have is to have a few more pieces of cooking items (pans etc.) to make preparing meals easier. This is a VERY MINOR issue!!!

Loved the Lodge and the location just amazing. Surround by beautiful countryside. Met with Veronica on arrival, gorgeous host. Answered any questions and started the weekend on a positive, happy note. If you want to de-stress and get away from reality for a while this is the spot. Only 7 to 10 minutes drive to Kinsale with the crowds and atmosphere but gorgeous to come back to a little serenity.

Lovely quiet place to stay. Very welcoming host. Swift to respond to requests. Great location. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get away from it all, but still be within reach of Cork city and Kinsale. Great walks in the vicinity. Clean and comfy.

It was right between kinsale and cork and situated on a beautiful farm with lovely and friendly staff and gorgeous animals

It was flawless

The lodge was right beside a big farm. Veronica warmly welcomed us and showed us around when we arrived, and the place was already heated up warmly upon our arrival. Although it's beside a farm, there's no odour and the Lodge is very clean, new and modern. It's well equipped with oven, microwave, cooking utensils, dishwasher and Netflix. There were even fresh flowers on the counter, which was lovely touch. We walked around the farm to see alcapas, race horses, cattles and two friendly dogs. This place is suitable for couples and family. Kinsale town is a short 10mins drive. Very highly recommend this place. We enjoyed it thoroughly, wish we could have stayed longer.

Now firstly I must mention Veronica! She is a fantastic host and within seconds of meeting her you could feel her warmth and enthusiasm and she gave us plenty of tips on where to visit locally. The Lodge is fantastic in a great location on a Farm/ Cows and Horses and Alpacas all within 100 metres of your Lodge. Plus some roaming Dalmatians ! Nice extra touches throughout and a welcome bottle of wine was very welcome. The mezzanine floor containing the bedroom is lovely. The local pub is literally a stones throw away.

Nothing major. Just the fact that the TV was a Smart TV only. It would be ideal to have access to a few more channels to view especially for the evenings when you may be relaxing.

Curragh House Lodge was amazing, we stayed in Lodge 2. Firstly we were greeted by Veronica upon our arrival, she showed us around the lodge and gave suggestion of places to eat and things to do. Veronica was lovely, welcoming and friendly. The lodge was well equipped, it had everything you need. There was utensils, pots and pans, cooking necessity, even milk and bread for breakfast! Veronica also left gifts for us (wine and chocolate) which was a lovely touch and it really made our stay as we were there to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The lodge was on a farm which we loved there was 3 amazing friendly Dalmatians that visited us everyday while we were there who just loved to be petted and hang out on our walk. We also loved the horses and the alpacas!!! This place is really a gem and would highly recommend! We will definitely come back soon!
