Jewel Cottage

It was well situated although the hill walking down a little steep but not too far from the centre of everything, we didn’t walk back as my knees would not cope lol but 5 pounds in a taxi was money well spent, the cottage was well equipped and exceptionally clean. As this was booked as a birthday treat for me I was very impressed by the choice and definitely recommend.

Location was good and excellent base for area

Property was very clean & kitted out with all we could need. Cottage had lovely character & was cosy. Comfortable beds & clean towels.

Parking was a hard and tight, that after the first day we used the car park down the road.

The cottage was clean and lovely. We would stay here again. Car park was as in previous reviews ie. tricky to get into and the location was nearly at the top of a steep hill which as in previous reviews would be hard for walking for elderly people.

The only downfall was that the car park was a bit difficult to get into and not sure two cars could park easily and manoeuvre together.

No dining table to eat a family meal from.

The property was lovely and super clean. Extremely comfortable beds with lovely soft bed linen. We had everything we could possibly need including tea/coffee/biscuits etc. Lots of information/leaflets/menus etc to browse through. The owner sent lots of information beforehand on the area with recommendations of things to do and see. We would definitely stay again.
