Cloncaird Castle Estate Cottages

So many things. The cottage was super spacious, but not isolated. The property was beyond stunning - made for wonderful walks - with views of sheep, horses, a stream, trees, fields - and of course, a castle!

Nothing. We were super happy with it.

The area is lovely and quiet.

The waste from the sink pipe ran across the back area of the building. The battery cover was off the TV remote. The dog nearly ate the battery out TV control. TV is too difficult to work. The cup was cracked and leaked hot tea. This was reported by a resident in June. The stairs are too steep and not sufficient bannister to be safe. They are dark and slippy.

The cottage we stayed in was HUGE. Massive bedrooms with en-suite toilet and shower. Cottage had everything you could think of! Beautiful surroundings. Well kept grounds. Great value for money!

We loved the beautiful cottage, very comfortable en luxurious at the same time. The castle grounds are lovely, no need to go anywhere else.

This was our second stay and the family have enjoyed our return just as much as the first time. In fact the request is more of the same! We were delighted to see new sofas and some new crockery. Also the d9wnstairs bathroom now has privacy glass so more usable!!

There's nothing not to like. The only tiny concern was the morning we left there was a slight drains smell but think it was a general area rather than our specific accommodation. There had been unsettled weather so possibly as blockage?

Absolutely stunning. The cottages were so spacious and had everything you could need. We will cherish those memories forever.
