The Secret Cottage - Morpeth

Loved the interior and how cosy the property was. Really well equipped, excellent location too. Felt very safe and walkable distance to all cafes & restaurants. Had everything we needed.

Bigger towels would be great!

Beautiful location, cosy decor & log burner to enjoy.

Nothing was unlikable, however the master bed was a bit short for anyone 5’7 or above due to the foot rail and the mattress was very soft with no support at all I would recommend a medium/firm. The lack of logs is a bit disappointing I did read they were available when booking and Netflix etc being shown in the photographs online but not being available is also a little deceptive but nothing major.

The location is very near to the city centre. and the house has kitchen for cooking and washing machine for washing. Convenient.

Although the bath in the bedroom is great it made getting around that side difficult. Having said that we would definitely book it again.

Beautifully finished, comfortable and a super convenient location for the town. Nice and quiet though, no street noise and it was a Saturday night!

The property is really well located for access to Morpeth, it’s a very nice renovation and the property is very warm. The bath in the main bedroom is wonderful, and great to have two large smart tvs.

As other guests have commented, it needs some tlc. There are a lot of basics missing or not enough of them - particularly in the kitchen. Also things that need replacing as they are broken or stained. No wood for the fire for a November stay, this was a main selling point and raised this when I got there and host promised to deliver it the next morning, but it didn’t arrive and I never heard anything back.
