The Secret Cottage - Morpeth

Everything was perfect. Stunning, tasteful decor, exceptionally clean and well presented throughout - like stepping into a show home, as though we were the first visitors! 5* everything, pure luxury. We stayed as a family of 4 with lots of rain and it was the perfect place to be. There was absolutely nothing to fault about this cosy cottage. Lovely memories made 😊 Jasmine, the host was very helpful which made for an effortless trip.

Great location, easy access to all facilities. Fireplace was a highlight, cosy atmosphere during Christmas season

Thier was nothing to dislike ,this is a lovely place to stay in morpeth ,it is lovely decorated ,very modern will deffo use again, beds where comfortable ;secret cottage us very central and close to town center .

Nothing not to dislike

A lovely, comfortable little cottage that provided a welcome retreat during a busy work trip to Morpeth and Newcastle. Well equipped and peaceful. The beautiful Christmas decorations in the living room made for a festive stay! I was lucky to get parked on the street outside, but there are also several free car parks very close by if the street is busy, including Grey’s Yard, which is tucked away on the same side of Oldgate as the cottage, directly opposite Skin & Co.

Just took a few minutes to find, as it was very dark when I arrived, and the satnav showed it as the pet shop! It’s just after the pet shop, through the metal gates; and the last cottage on the left.

Amazing location, right in centre with everything you need around you but very quiet at the property itself. The cottage itself was better than expected, the pictures are amazing but it was so cosy and homely, it really felt as if we were at home there! The Christmas tree and decorations were a lovely addition we didn't expect but welcomed and the bath in the master bedroom ... it needs a try if you visit! Couldn't fault our stay and would happily come back next time we visit Morpeth, thank you!

The cottage was very stylish, comfortable, cozy and clean. Great shower, big bath towels, well equipped kitchen and nice welcome touches.

Beautifully appointed with lovely personal touches like candles and sleep spray to help aid relaxation

The property was quite cold, but the heating was efficient
