The kitchen was fantastic, with everything needed. All amenities were great.

The bed was incredibly hard, and the bedsheets were so harsh that if you moved too fast they burn your skin.

We were offered a transfer service, and it was convenient; we reached our destination from the airport in less than half an hour. The location is quite convenient – ​​quiet (when the neighbors aren't noisy), there's a shop, a good bakery, and one of the best pizzerias nearby. The sea is about a 15-minute walk away, considering we walked fairly quickly (as fast as the broken sidewalk allowed). The first impression was positive; it was like visiting grandma. Then we took a closer look. First of all it's not a separate house as descripted it's a room in a house. Secondly, it's written that smoking is prohibited throughout the entire property. In fact, there was smoking under our windows every evening and night, so badly that I woke up in the middle of the night from the terrible smoke smell instead of freash sea air we came to breathe. "Close the balcony door and sleep under the air conditioner," some might think. But why should I sleep under an air conditioner that hasn't been cleaned in years, and which blows onto the head of the bed? "Ask them not to smoke," others will say. We did. After the first request, we got through one evening normally, then everything started all over again. The second request brought no results.

Also the room needs updating: the front door handle fell out when we closed it, and the bathroom handle was barely hanging on. The shower leaks, and a puddle can flow outside the bathroom. The floor mats are made of a film, which is seems unhygienic. The towels are grayish with snags. There are a lot of shampoos and gels on the shelves; one could, of course, assume they were thoughtfully purchased to suit different tastes and needs, but it feels like the shelves are cluttered with things left by other tourists. I was especially surprised by the soap on the bidet, which is already used. The kitchen is advertised as having a stove, and there is one, but only one burner works, and cooking anything more serious than coffee is a challenge. The refrigerator is covered in black mold and hasn't been defrosted in a long time. Bedroom - the polyester sheets covered in pilling; turning over on them at night was torture, with the taste of skin peeling off. The closet is a collection of junk, and instead of organizing things normally, I had to stuff everything into one closet. The outlets near the bed, as advertised, are impossible to use - the plug doesn't fit, leaving only one outlet - near the entrance. Convenient? - No. The internet is a fiasco. The owners recommend using an extender to improve the signal, which they announce with a notice on the wall. Thank you, very good advice! I always take an extender with me on vacation. In short, the internet is available near the front door, but weak near the dining table. The icing on the cake was forgetting my AirPods, which Viviana had planned to send back at the end of September, but apparently couldn't find the time for a month (she claimed she'd lost the address I'd written on WhatsApp). She wasn't obligated to, but it added a finishing touch to the experience.

NIce quite place in on-foot dictance from Mondello beach. Also quite easy to get to Palermo by public transport. Nice place to stay for both sea rest and travel activities.
