"A perfect find for a short weekend break."

Very comfortable and clean, very cosy for a short autumnal break. Found the locals were very friendly and chatty too. Would definitely book again.

Nothing not to like. Only slight disappointment was that it wasn’t cold enough to warrant lighting the log burner - can’t really blame the cottage for that though!

"L'al cottage"

A very comfortable quiet cottage in a great location. Easy access to Ullswater and surrounding areas and walking distance to the Queens Head pub for a very nice meal. Good information from the owner for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the bottle of wine left for us was put to very good use. Thank you.

The cottage was very clean and very well equipped. We liked the location, very quiet area but close to restaurants and shops. The small fireplace was an excellent addition. We enjoyed our stay there.
