Friendly welcoming hosts. Property was in peaceful location just what we wanted after 3 weeks of travelling the sights of Portugal. Information provided by Mark and Lizzie was fabulous, great to have recommendations on restaurants. We both had massages, organised by Mark, from the visiting masseuse Margaret and totally recommend, the best massage ever.

Such a wonderful one of a kind property. Everything was lovely and Mark and Lizzie were incredible hosts. The setting was so peaceful. We will definitely visit again.

Le contraste entre la dimension des sanitaires et celles de l'ensemble qui était mis a notre disposition , douche , WC et lavabo sont réunis dans un espace trop limité , dans lequel il est difficile d'evoluer

What a gem. So happy we chose this place. Mark and Lizzie are warm, thoughtful hosts—Mark even gave us a full tour on arrival. They’ve truly thought of everything, from a welcome box with tea and coffee to a well‑stocked kitchen with cleaning supplies, foil, clingfilm and paper towels. The bathroom has quality shampoo, conditioner and soap, so no need to bring your own. The saltwater pool is gorgeous, with shaded seating and sunny loungers. The property itself is stunning, set beside a natural park with plenty of peaceful spots to sit alone or join others. I loved greeting Colin the carp by the pond and watching the birdlife—golden orioles, Iberian magpies and even bee‑eaters over the river. If you’re after a calm, relaxing escape, this place is perfect.

De rust en uitzicht. Mark en Lucy waar geen vraag teveel is en altijd voor je klaar staan. . Heerlijk ontbijt met verse producten.
