Friendliest greeting from Paola and always ready to help us. Quick responses in communication. She saved a car park for us directly outside the apartment and was there to open the door and explain everything. Recently renovated apartment with one huge bedroom downstairs which had a queen bed and loft style second bedroom upstairs with the same. Equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom. Paola also left juices, fruit, pastries, toast and condiments for breakfast and greeted us with a focaccia from Matera which was perfect for a snack. About a 10 minute walk from Sassi with shops around the corner. First night walked around the corner to a little family run restaurant. OMG do yourself a favour and go! Amazing food with super friendly couple who own and also do the cooking. Lots of locals in there! See my review on Google. Braci & Abracci.

Maybe a couple of extra pillows as we found them a bit hard. The shower was lovely but the temperature kept changing on us from cold to hot? Not sure why?

Shower was a bit temperamental.

It’s a bright and very clean, well stocked two bed property. Beds were comfortable and our host was super helpful, friendly and very welcoming. Water, food, including breakfast items, shower gel all provided. Close by to centre of Matera which was lovely.

The rooms were very clean, modern and spacious. Paola was very professional, friendly and accomodating. From start to finish she made sure we were comfortable. My family and I were more than happy with Sulle Note dei Sassi. We definitely recommend it. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

great location near city centre, Paula and her team welcomed us warmly and gave tips for travelling the city. the apartment was clean and well equipped.

the water stream was a bit weak and the temperature wasn’t stable.
