Excellent host and amazing hospitality. Host is very warm, welcoming and helpful. Refrigerator was fully stocked with refreshments and food/ drinks and host was constantly in touch with us thru out the stay. He promptly returned our calls and texts with queries. Apartment is nicely decorated & very cozy. It’s located in the woods with great natural surroundings. However, Car is a must for reaching the place.

A little hard to find & breakfast could be better.

A very, very kind host! We used google translate to communicate, but he was very proactive and helpful to get us to the place with his car, so we had no problem getting there. The house is 5min walk from Gold Museum (shuttle bus stop) and 20min walk to Jiufen old streets. There is also a nice walk and views around the house. Evertyhing in the house was clean, kitchen was well equipped and we had a nice set of bread, jam and yogurt for breakfast, as well as some coffee. For the price and even in general this was one of the best stays. I liked the trees and lush green outside the window.

The house is a bit old and you could notice mould getting out from under the paint in the corners. Some appliances are also a bit worn out. But that did not ruin our stay there.

I like that it a little far away from the crowded area. The house gives a glimpse of the life of locals. It also has some added bonus spot that is only accessible for the locals.

This was a lovely little cottage set in an idyllic location, in the mountains. It was away from the chaos of Jiufen but only a 20 minute walk up forest paths (steps) to get there. The host was very attentive and supportive throughout our stay and there was a range of food provided for breakfasts.

amazing views, nice facilities, really responsive and helpful host. We got lots of lots of great tips from the host on good restaurants in the area, and different activities to do in the area. The house was a 20 minute walk from jiufen old street, with the possibility of taking a bus there as well. It was a quiet oasis. The photos are not the most updated photos! the walls have been repainted and the unit is extremely clean and tidy :) The host had filled up the entire fridge with an assortment of breakfast items for our stay as well.

the doorway from the living room to the kitchen was quite short and not painted a visible colour so our friends who were taller, bumped their head on the wall a couple of times. I would recommend the owner to paint it a more visible colour for safety!

Very friendly staff. Excellent recommendation for dinner. Appartement was well equipped, very clean and big enough for the four adults of us. Also this was a quiet place.

Access is not too easy but still reachable and there is parking lot nearby.
