The property is remote in the mountains but just 5 min from jiu fen old street by car or scooter. Walking maybe a 20min walk. It’s complete with a bathroom, kitchen and spare upstairs loft with an extra mattress,pillow and sheet. Although we visited in the winter there’s a nice heater that keeps the home warm and toasty plus there’s a heater for the bed as well. The home is a bit like a cottage style and parking is easily accessible. The owner (Brotten) is also an incredible host. He was very hospitable and ready to help in any way he could. He provides fresh groceries daily (bread, eggs, jam, peanut butter, microwaveable dumplings, milk, etc..) and even provided a free bottle of wine. He helped us book a table at a local restaurant for dinner and showed up to make sure we got seated. All in all an amazing host. Most importantly it is pet friendly. We brought our 3 dogs (Taiwan mixed breed) and were welcomed with open arms which is not always the case.

The only slight problem we had was the mattress was a bit too soft for our liking. However this is more of a personal preference.

The property is so beautiful, we had two houses they were clean neat and well equipped. Breakfast ingredients were given on the days of our stay. The surrounding area se are so beautiful and many activities to do . There is also a water fall near by. The manager is so nice and sweet very kind. Everything was beyond my expectations I really wished I could have stayed longer . It will so good . The interior is superb and ktv included. I loved it so much

Beautiful house hidden in the mountains. It was clean and comfortable. The host is very welcoming and helped us with our trips by driving us or picking us up in town or other places around.

The best place to stay when visiting Jiufen. Host has multiple lodgings for guests of different types. Lodging is located at a scenic area, well-furnished and extremely comfortable. Mr Wu is very responsive, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. He guided us to novel locations with breathtaking scenery of Jiufen and recommended ample food options for us in our 2 days of stay. We will definitely engage him again as our visit there has and will become a core experience of any Taiwan trip.
