Casa Nunes

It was a nice stay, we enjoy it. The apartment was well equipped, we had everything that we needed. Cute cats. Good communication.

The bed could be more comfortable.

Weird start of the review - the WiFi was the best we’ve had on our trip. :D First when we’ve met with the owner she showed us around and gave us everything we needed. The room felt spacious and the kitchen was put together and bright despite having only one window. There was a little kitten always greeting us on our way home which made our stay unique :) the location is great for a few amazing spots in the north which we liked.

The room was not Very sound proof as we’ve heard some noise of the neighbors but we’ve been able to deal with it well.

It is an apartment with only one room, but very comfortable. It was very clean

Nothing, but it will be useful to be able to open the windows. It was not possible due to cats. Besides, to improve, some more dishes or glasses might be helpful

A nice accommodation in Santana. Very friendly host, she even allowed us to come very early for our check in. A nice spacious room with a sharable washing machine and dryer. Very quiet place for a good sleeping experience, we couldn't wake up in the morning because the sleep was so good. Close to many restaurants and the great bakery Delicias da Bia.

The kitchen could have definitely be more equipped, we were not cooking and the kitchen was definitely lacking in dishes. The location is a bit tricky not that it's far away but it requires more time for you to get to places since you are not connected with highway in Santana.

Apartment decorations can improve

There s a problem with the water pipes so during our stay we had to tolerate a lot of noise, esp bad when the shared washing machine in basement below was in use. Owner apologised sincerely and gave us some compensation but we d rather have had a peaceful stay. Shame as house is lovely.

Fantastic location, quiet, spacious room and ample place to park the car. Close to Santana and a large Continente supermarket. Perfect spot to discover the rest of the island. Close to several hiking trails.

Nothing dries in the apartment so towels had to be dried daily. The washing machine and dryer is shared. Other guests rudely stopped the drying process leaving us with wet clothes. This is of no fault of Casa Nunes but you can’t choose your neighbours. On other occasions they were bothering our privacy by knocking on our door. Apart from toilet paper there are no amenities. so although you can cook, there are no basics like oil, salt, pepper etc and you’ll have to buy it.

The apartment is really nice, the kitchen is well equipped. Also the bathroom is nice and big. The check in worked out perfectly. Ther is a washing machine and a dryer you share with another apartment. It is a good place to stay if you like to go hiking, but you probably need a car.

The bathroom was a little cold.
