"Great location away from the larger city of Funchal"

Location was just outside small town of Santana, quiet street with ample parking.

The bed was smaller and not the most comfortable but for the price was still a great place to stay and will likely look for this location upon my return to Maderia.

Very spacious accommodation, nice host. Good starting location for many hiking trips (car needed though). Fireplace in the living room was great. Kitchen equipped with all basic pots, pans, utensils..

Frying pans need replacement. The house was very humid. Rather small double beds.

Very spacious, every room is a good size. Decorated very nicely. Housekeeper was lovely, friendly and made us feel very welcome.
