"A lovely comfortable place to spend time with old friends"

The house was very clean and warm. The hosts had left some delicious homemade biscuits and apple juice as well as eggs and white bread. There were plenty of cooking appliances. There were 5 bedrooms which suited us as we are friends who live in different parts of the country. The gardens were lovely but we only discovered them at the end. Gilletts Cottage s in the grounds of a Quaker retreat centre so had a gentle vibe.

It would have been nice to have a second shower instead of a bath (or a shower attachment to the bath). The sitting room was not very cosy. We didn't like the local pub which is recommended in the booklet. The publican was quite intrusive and the food was mediocre.

"Really comfortable beds in this bargain getaway."

Everything was great. Comfy beds. Plenty of parking. Plenty of bathrooms/toilets. Lovely setting. And for us, the dining table was were we 'lived' whilst in the property. Perfect for groups

Very comfortable property with everything we needed and unexpected goodies on arrival.

The only problem we had was no light on the staircase furthest away from the entrance, the bulb had gone.
