Fabulous little hideaway in a spectacular part of the country! We took the path through the garden of the main house down into Tarbert, a lovely walk -though perhaps not so suitable for those with very small children or adults that are not so steady on their feet. Though the Chicken Coop is "cozy" the bedroom feels roomy.

More of an observation than a complaint - we would be very happy to return :) The bathroom is situated under the stairs and is very snug, though there is a full sized wash hand basin. People who are taller than 6 ft will find it more difficult to fit in the shower as the headroom is compromised.

The little garden area really needs attention. It would be such an asset to the cottage. It wouldn’t take much to spruce it up.

Location is idyllic, surrounded by forest and with sheep roaming around the property. It was very clean, and spacious, Easy to check in and check out, host responsive. Dog friendly.

Bed was way too squeaky, and a bit too hard for me. Kitchen equipment could have been better, pans were in really bad condition, replacing those would be a good idea. Shower water was either too cold, or too warm, difficult to get it right.

The cottages are situated in a quiet place off the main road. The rooms were clean and cosy.

It wasn't easy to find. The sign board was hidden behind the brushes, not visible.
