Home from Home in the Gateway to the Dales

Our stay was double booked. Upon arriving for check in at 3pm we met another family checking in. When we booked, we were told we would recieve check in instructions on the day of check in. When I messaged asking for the check in details. I then (less than an hour before check in) got a message back from host to apologise that there was a gas leak. We were 20 minutes from the property so thought we would check it out. Extremely disappointed as we travelled a very long way via boat and the host did not honour our booking.

Close to the centre of town. Plenty of parking close to the residence.

Nothing really. It served our needs well.

It was great location clean and comfortable

Nothing but to enhance stay it would of been nice to have a basic welcome pack ... I found shop around the corner but if we had arrived late it would be nice to have milk coffee etc

Skipton area

Not as described cottage, a terrace house. Seating not very comfortable

The home had everything we might need and was clean. There were helpful notes throughout the property and a well equipped kitchen. They thought of all of the details. DVDs to lend, washing machine and drying rack provided, coffee, tea, eco-touches throughout.

The location is very residential, and while only a 9 min walk to the store according to the maps app, with kids it's more like 20, so just be prepared to take a bit longer to get to a corner shop.

The close location to the town everything was within walking distance the house was spotless and well equipped with WiFi tv,dvd

Good location, easy walk down Castle street and into the main streets of Skipton. Parking available right out the front on the street.
