Rosecott

Very clean, spacious, beautiful!!

Our second visit to Rosecott. Jenni is a wonderful host and can't do enough to help make your stay perfect. She even was happy for our little girl to trick or treat on their door during our stay after a busy day at work. We love Rosecott. It has a very special place in our hearts and always will. Comfy beds, crisp bed linen, fresh towels, luxurious interiors, a delightful welcome package (of local milk, saffron cake, 12 eggs, and a loaf of bread means essentials are there when you arrive), loo rolls supplied that last the week, tea and coffee and some cupboard essentials all there too. Washing up liquid/dishwasher tablets/ clothes detergent all Ecover and supplied aswell. What we love about Rosecott is that it smells wonderful and we haven't figured out how yet! Must ask Jenni. Unusual upside down living, bedrooms are on ground floor and living space/ kitchen on first floor. It just works wonderfully as there is a beautiful panoramic view all around the cottage, so makes sense having living area upstairs where you can enjoy these views. Off road parking just for the cottage helps, and external lights that you can control from where the car is parked is a nice touch. Basically we want to come back again and again. If I had to look for something....the sofa is quite low for people with mobility problems. But if you are holidaying here then it's likely you are active and it wouldn't be a problem anyway

Beautiful well equipped house, I would have been happy to stay here longer! Jenni could not do enough to make us comfortable and welcome. Also she has great tips on what to do and where to go in the area. I would thoroughly recommend Rosecott! (Just don’t bring a huge car, the drive up is a tad tight…)

The property, which is set within a lovely rural peaceful setting, was perfectly located between St Ives & Penzance and with so many places to visit within a few miles. Jenni (the owner) was always on hand if we needed anything and offered some very useful tips of places to visit & eat. She quite rightly takes great pride in her holiday cottage, as does Graham, her husband.

The narrow lanes can be a challenge at times especially during peak holiday periods. The cottage though was faultless. Jenni had pretty much thought of everything which meant the cottage lacked for nothing whatsoever.

A beautifully converted barn with gorgeous views from the first floor living room of the surrounding countryside.

Fine for us but rural location so if you don’t want to drive it’s approx 3 miles into St Ives. Jenni our host was really helpful with taxi numbers into St Ives.

The location of Rosecott is perfect. The best views around! A real home away from home where me and the boys could relax. Jenny was incredible nothing was ever too much! We had fresh homemade treats on arrival with some basics to get us through til morning! The boys loved seeing the cows every evening right outside our window (so did I). The house was so clean and comfortable and had all facilities we needed. Use of additional items from the shed was great such as boogie boards for the beach meant we didn’t have to bring our own saving car space. The house smelt gorgeous I love the smell of a clean house!

Lovely property, host was helpful and welcoming. Facilities were excellent, v comfy. Box of tissues in every room. Fresh flowers too.

The microwave and oven were difficult to use. Maybe too high tech for us. We didn’t cook, just heated up food. Would have appreciated shampoo in bathroom.

Really clean, comfortable and beautiful property! Jenni was also a great host - super responsive and accommodating! She also had a nice folder of recommendations/ suggestions.
