Batch with a View

We stayed for three nights in December 2025 and just loved it. Spacious, had everything we needed, easy access, on the edge of a nice park. What made it especially homely is that it is obviously used by the owners, so all their personal stuff added to the homely feel. If you're looking for modern sophistication this is not for you; it is after all a bach, but a bach with everything.

We loved this place and how spacious it was. I had debated over a few properties in Te Anau and am so glad we ended up here. It feels very private and is in proximity to town. The use of the washer was also much appreciated. I would highly recommend staying here.

Lots of space and full kitchen to do your own meals . Also location was great , we could walk into town . Little garden was also beautiful and there always a park next to the cabin . We enjoyed our time there

It said there was Netflix but it wasn’t but that was not a big deal .

Beautifully located and exceptionally well equipped. Communication with Annie was wonderful, and she was incredibly kind and helpful when I accidentally left something behind in the apartment. I would return without hesitation. The place is also wonderfully quiet and peaceful, making it perfect for a truly relaxing stay.

Its a true kiwi bach, we settled in almost instantly and it felt like our own little holiday home. It was peaceful and quiet, they supplied games which was a huge bonus on the wet evenings. Everything you could need and more, while being within walking distance to the lake and the town. It's beautiful spot, if you are heading into Milford or looking for a holiday at the lake, coming from Christchurch, we felt like we could connect with the peace and nature around us, plus space for our kids to be little kids.
