Owl Cottage

We absolutely loved our stay at Owl Cottage. The cottage was really tastefully decorated, had plenty of space and the facilities were great. The location was great- just a short drive to Wells and we loved having the local pub opposite where we enjoyed a really nice meal and drinks. The host was also great at keeping in contact and the check in/check out procedure was hassle free. A wonderful stay all round, highly recommended.

The only downside of the property was the main bathroom’s shower- we were unable to stand up to have a shower as the hose was too short.

Great property well furnished and very comfortable.

House rules were a little proscriptive.

Beds were very comfortable and it had everything we needed for our stay

Floors weren’t clean and we fixed the shower door.

Liked the room dimensions and the decor.

The en-suite shower room was cramped and lacked shelving and storage space. The property had no house number or house name to identify it. Thank goodness my wife recognised it from website. The key was left hanging from a patio door handle without prior notification of where it would be. Hopefully house identification and key location will be rectified for other users.

The location is fantastic, only 5 minutes from Wells. The house is beautiful and has absolutely everything you need. We will definitely stay again.
