Forest Heath Shepherd's Huts

Had everything we needed for a get away for a few days.

Location and the experience of staying at the edge of the forest. Extremely clean and well maintained accommodation. The well thought out internal decoration with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The patio table, chairs, and festoon lights, which encouraged us to spend most of the evening sitting outside-we even played dominoes, which was a lot of fun and something that we don't usually have time to do in our normal day to day life. If you need to get away and unwind, this is definitely the place to come to. It really is very beautiful. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this unique property.

De hut ligt achteraan een lange tuin in een bos. Het was er zeer rustig en je zit midden in de natuur.

Idyllic! Perfect peace and tranquility in a lovely location. I couldn’t find anything that I would’ve needed that wasn’t already provided. Laying in a deck chair under the forest trees was just so relaxing. Close to beautiful walks in both directions along the Castlemaine trail which is just at the end of the street. I needed to relax and I certainly did. There was a lovely barbecue area and some friends came and joined me there for my birthday. Something I had not expected!

There was nothing that I did not like about the property. I didn’t like leaving!!

The shepherd's hut conept. Nice location. Generally quite peaceful. Comfy bed. Kitchen about good for the size.

Bathroom OK. However just an observation. The shower head was mostly blocked. Either to be descaled or changed. No complimentary shower gels / shampoo and silicon on shower base mouldy.

Friendly hosts who provided not only wonderful accommodation in beautiful forest surroundings but also ensured we were comfortable with how to operate the appliance and to what local attractions were available to us. The accommodation was of very high quality with lovely extra touches of being well furnished, toilet roll, posh hand soap, towels, washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a couple of yummy chocolates ready for our arrival. There was a fan under the bed.
