Juniper Cottage

A lovely, well equipped cottage. Our third visit!

The welcome pack was a lovely surprise of goodies. The cottage has everything you'd need for a very comfortable stay, and more. A fantastic location to start a few walks from and the comfy beds were well needed at the end of a long day's walking.

All the facilities and little extra touches. Fantastic location for our Macmillan Mighty Hike.

Exceptional cottage in beautiful surroundings. The cottage had everything you need and the welcome hamper was a delightful surprise.

The 2 first floor bedrooms were a little awkward for an adult, as there is restricted standing space due to the roof. This wasn't as much of a problem as we were all very good friends and happy to share the ground floor dressing room.

Some really nice furnishing and decor touches. Heating worked really well. Oven was great. Sheets towels lovely. Welcome pack exceptional. Good clothes rail and Coat shoe storage.

Microwave needs an upgrade. Double bed was crazily squeaky. Nowhere to put toiletry bags/cosmetics in either bathroom. Remote control was really hit or miss - was better if you stood directly in front of tv. Road was noisy however only really heard it in the lounge. Plug positions in bedrooms not ideal for chargers etc. Sofas are very attractive but not supportive any more. Fridge would be very challenging for drink and food storage for more than 2 people.

Beautiful location in a small village. Close to Bakewell and plenty of walking trails

Lovely setting Clean and tidy on arrival, easy instructions on location and fab communication with owner (even offering us a later check out 👍)
