Juniper Cottage

We loved everything about Juniper cottage. It is a lovely bright contemporary immaculate comfortable welcoming property. The attention to detail is exemplary with lots of unexpected little “finds”. Lovely hamper of goodies, lots of coffee pods for machine, butter milk Prosecco. Beds really comfortable with beautiful quality linen. The prelit Christmas tree with the electric log burner was the icing on the cake for us visiting Chatsworth Christmas market. We actually commented on how lovely it was when leaving a great day at Chatsworth to be looking forward to “getting home”. A great stay. Thank you Jane.

There was nothing that we disliked

The house is beautifully decorated, well equipped and larger than expected. The beds are also very comfortable and the cottage is in a good location to explore Bakewell and the surrounding area. Jane left a very thoughtful hamper on our arrival and kindly sent some items back to us, that we had left in the cottage by accident. We highly recommend and hope to return next year!

Beautiful property with everything you need for a self catering stay (great to have a welcome hamper on arrival - thank you). Loved the furnishings, cosy blankets and fluffy sheep!!! Located in a beautiful area of the Peak District with lots of walks right on the doorstep. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely cottage with real attention to detail. Comfy beds with luxurious linen. Good location just outside Bakewell. Quiet. Very clean indeed. Comfy, spacious lounge with gorgeous cushions and blankets. Well equipped kitchen with all you need. Very welcome hamper, milk, butter and coffee in fridge and kind bathroom products for use. The owners have thought of everything! We would love to return.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The cottage is aesthetically beautiful and clean. The kids especially loved their own rooms in the attic and didn't want to leave! Basic essentials we needed were provided for plus a few extras like the surprise food hamper. There's a good pub nearby that serves lunch/dinner food.

Juniper cottage delighted from the time we opened the door. It was very comfortable and well equipped providing everything required for our stay. Its quite and rural location was a perfect base for touring the area.

There was no downside.

Everything!!! Location was beautiful, the cottage was more than I expected and it was well kept. The living room was so beautiful!!

We couldn't fault anything. The cottage was beautifully presented and we had everything we could possibly need, including a well provisioned welcome pack.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't good so we couldn't fully appreciate the lovely countryside around the cottage.
