The cottage is in a beautiful setting. Everything was clean and sparkling. We were met first by Pêpê the resident peacock and then by the very friendly and helpful owner. We enjoyed listening to the birds and we watched through the window as a deer grazed outside. So special to be in the countryside away from any traffic. The house is well equipped and we really had a lovely stay. I definitely plan to return before too long.

This peaceful location boasts a fantastic cottage with everything you need. The host, Lorraine, is incredibly friendly and easy to contact. She’s always happy to answer any questions or concerns. The location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Location, style and general impression of the cottage

No dislikes

Loved the peacocks, ducks and chickens. Loved the rural location and the wood burning stove.

Very small point but we didn't know we would have to open a couple of gates to get to the farm. We thought we had taken a wrong turn somewhere because we had to drive through a field of sheep. Maybe the instructions for picking up the keys could mention this.
