If you love it tranquil and rural, this is the place to stay when in the area. A car is needed to explore the beautiful places like mountainous Monchique and the gorgeous beaches.

Great location in a peaceful village, not far from sea. The apartment and the whole property were really nice, the hosts lived nextdoor and were very kind. We loved the peaceful atmosphere of the place. The apartment was big enough and we were absolutely satisfied with the interior.

The location would be very hard to reach without a car and there are no shops in the village, so car is really a necessity.

Very peaceful place. We look forward to come again. Only 700 m from the fishermen’s trail.

Nice clean apartment opening on to a well kept vegetable garden in a pleasant rural setting on route to the lovely Figueiras beach. The grounds were very well kept. A good place to explore the unspoilt beaches in the region by car.

We had an early check in which was great and after wondering around for a while we’re eventually shown to our apartment by a young girl After which no one ever came to us to in 4 days to provide any information on the accommodation or area despite messages being sent. There were several family members wandering around but it felt like we were being avoided. There’s also no information in the room on where the washing machine was or the restaurants or beaches in the area which resulted in us getting lost on narrow dirt roads to get to the beach by following google maps which was wrong. . The kitchen was fine but lacked wine glasses and a jug to boil water. Cash payment only.

I live in the Algarve, but I wanted a peaceful retreat for the weekend and I know a lot of the Vincentina coast already. But I also wanted quality accommodation (not a surfer but more of an old hiker) There was everything at the apartment to meet my requirement, not sure how close other places to eat in the evening would be as I took food to cook and eat inside at night. I hiked in Carrapatiera 15 mins away which was great and have done before. Figueiras beach was amazing and only 10 mins drive, Alejezur also interesting and close by good places to eat too. Easy to find and a nice peaceful retreat at the end of the day. good wifi connection too. Ruben speaks english and is very helpful

advice perhaps on where nearest places to eat out I think perhaps it is was early being June for many places to be open and I personally didn´t want to drive too far at nightime so perhaps they could offer something onsite might be popular in summer as they have a nice garden and people might not want to venture out again at the end of a long day at the beach or whatever. But I went in June not July/August and in a way that might deter from its unique calm peaceful atmosphere so ....

Super nice owners, kind of secluded location. Apartment had basic dishes, towels, etc. for use.
