The location was great. The village was charming, lots of places to eat, great little shops. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice warm cottage, with hot cross buns for us when we arrived. Nice secure courtyard for the dogs, with lovely walks from the village. Excellent choice of pubs and cafes, with local shops too if you fancy self catering. Well equipped kitchen in the cottage if you need it.

Parking is a bit tight, but we managed fine.

"Heaven in Devon"

Frances has thought of everything that one could possibly need t make them feel at home. And she shares the bounty of her lovely home, which is opposite, in all sorts of ways: flowers from the garden, visits from/with two whippets, an African grey parrot, some hens and aa long haired, blue eyed cat. We were in heaven. And can recommend Arch Cottage and Chadford with gusto and gratitude

This is a fab cottage to stay in. Brilliant location a few minutes walk from the centre of Chagford to pubs/ shops. Excellent location for some lovely walks up the Tors / along the river without having to drive anywhere 1st. Free parking is also a bonus. The cottage is really well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen. It is warm, cosy & very comfortable. Owners were really friendly & welcoming. I could not ask for anything more. Definitely somewhere I would not hesitate to book again. Excellent entertainment options for rainy days with loads of books to read/ board games & Netflix

Nothing I can think of - a really lovely place to stay.

Nice location, well equipped and homely feel.

I personally found it hard to get to sleep due to road noise, as a light sleeper, but this is only complaint.

"A perfect base for our trip with a lovely atmosphere"

Ideal location, well equipped and a peaceful haven. Flowers in every room, lovely furnishings, loads of interesting books and a friendly welcome. Everything we needed had been provided with careful attention. Excellent bathroom with a really good shower. Interesting rooms and all looked exactly as on the website.

A lovely well appointed cottage. Friendly welcome with cake and tea. Even the dog had a welcome bowl of water waiting for his arrival

We liked everything. No complaints whatsoever.
