Attractive 2 bed cottage in Hempton Fakenham

Our 2nd visit. Cottage was as we remembered. Cosy, clean, well equipped and perfect for our needs. Great location for beach or countryside walks. Fakenham & its shops, restaurants etc close by. Great communication from our host, Jason from start to finish. Even the neighbours are lovely! Already booked again for next year.

Very good cottage to settle into upon arrival. Nice and relaxed and comfortable. Good location to get to lots of lovely attractions/areas of Norfolk, and very nice place to return to at the end of the day.

Lovely little cottage, well equipped. Double bed really comfortable and quiet location. Very clean, good communication from owner. Yes I will book again as it was ideal👍

Ideally located for reaching the town and buses by bike. Shed for bikes. Quiet. Extremely comfortable bed. Everything very clean.

Stairs: The top of the stairs is right outside the main bedroom , so in the night, on the way to the loo, it is very scary. Unfortunately we know of a couple of people who have had fatal accidents on stairs at night, so perhaps we overreacted! When you are in your seventies, you are cautious. (Both of us had to wake up, accompany, etc) A stout stair-gate might be a solution? Certainly a night-light. Table: We had to move the under-the-stairs dining table in order to use it. It might be better placed in the living room, and the sideboard put under the stairs. (Though, who uses a table these days? Only oldies like us!)

2nd visit. Host is lovely and helpful. Cottage is quaint and spotless. And in a brilliant location just a short walk to town xx I would definitely book again ❤️

A beautiful cottage, well furnished, clean and tidy. Ideal for our visit to the area to attend a family wedding. 10 minute walk into Fakenham, which is a lovely town with a good variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. The cottage was well stocked in the kitchen, everything you could need in a self catering establishment. Beds very comfortable. Living room a good size. Bathroom lovely with a good powerful shower. Would definitely stay here again, we all really loved this cottage, a home from home.
