Lovely warm and cosy cottage, clean and fresh. We'll furnished and decorated. The host had thoughtfully left little essentials to make our stay comfortable and stressless. Washing up, tea and coffee, condiments, soap, towels (all the stuff I'm likely to forget). We loved the position of the cottage, tucked away and yet so near to the town, walks and local buses. The host's instructions are clear so getting there, finding the cottage, parking, the heating and keys all so very straightforward. This cottage had all we needed. An ideal choice for a couple still able to manage a winding stairs.

There is hardly anything to say here, the top step of the stairs cuts into the landing and the second bedroom is filled with the single bed. This may prove tricky for an family with a young child. I'd say this cottage is ideal for a couple on their own or with an older child. We loved it and soon got used to its quirks.

Comfortable, cosy and well equipped. Great communication from the owner.

Don’t open the back door and let your dogs out! The yard is not enclosed.

It was in easy walking distance of town centre. And the common was handy for walking the dog, pub around the corner and a garden centre just down the road with cafe and pets welcome

Parking was close but not at the door. And the front garden was a walk through fot next door so couldn't let the dog out uncompleted.

It was very well equipped and clean. Very nice family next door.

The stairs are steep, which didn’t bother us nimble and agile 60 somethings but probably wouldn’t suit those with mobility issues.

The house was very festive with lovely holiday touches throughout! The house felt like home!

I would have liked a top sheet. I get very warm under a duvet and often throw it aside to cool off.

I cannot remember anything that I havent liked. I will certainly return.

The location is great. Lots of local amenities right on the doorstep. This was my 5th stay and we always look forward to coming back. Perfect place to stay when going to see the Thursford Christmas Show.
