So cute and quirky excellent bed linen.

Nothing - the walks in the fields nearby were spectacular.

Beautiful cottage, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. The information booklet was helpful. The bedroom was bigger than expected, with plenty of storage. The chickens that would occasionally hop up by the kitchen window were a treat, although I suspect my dogs didn't share this opinion!

The only slight things, and purely personal preference rather than a fault, would be that the frying pan was quite large and difficult to use on the 2 ring induction hub if also needing a saucepan at the same time. A few more teaspoons would be helpful. I found the pillow a little flat, but I tend to be fussy and rarely find pillows comfortable. After a wet and muddy walk, we brought the dogs to the wet room style shower to rinse off. The shower head was fixed so it involved filling a jug. A moveable shower head would have been helpful, but we managed so again, a bit nitpicky.

Quiet location. A lovely, comfortable, clean cottage and charming host.

Charming hideaway accommodation located immediately behind an historic Manor House.

Need more user pillows in the bedroom. Settee in lounge rather uncomfortable, no back support. Need a footstool and a vacuum cleaner.

The location was superb and the property was very quirky in a good way - loved the stone flags and the huge fireplace. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. We appreciated the log burner as it got quite cold in the evening. The facilities were great for a weekend break in the beautiful Cornish countryside, with close proximity to Falmouth and the coast. Good to have off-road parking too. Thank you for a lovely break in The Hideaway.

A personal preference is a more supportive mattress than the one provided. This wouldn't put me off staying again though.☺️

The set up and attention to detail re cooking facilities including both a plunger and coffee maker. Our hosts were helpful and accommodating re queries. Setting was very quiet and off the tourist paths but within driving distance of everything. Supermarkets not too far away to buy dinner and breakfast supplies.

Local roads are very narrow, so we chose not to drive at night.

Cornwall isn’t my favorite county, but the cottage was the best experience in the UK so far. I’m glad, I picked it and not a random hotel, where I have to wake up at 7, so I can have breakfast. I like it cosy and silent, so this cottage was the right decision for that. I enjoyed every second. Ok, every minute, but sometimes the wood wouldn’t burn the way it should ;)
