The Hideaway is an escapist dream set deep in the Cornish countryside. It is an ancient building modernised yet retaining a feeli g of history.

"very quiet and hidden location"

The house is very hidden and quiet. Even though it is very small it has everything you need for a few days. The owner was friendly and gave us a short tour of the house.

The house was not very clean. There were a lot of spiders and webs in it (I know it is an old house and therefore might have some spiders in it but it was clearly not vacumed at all). Also there were a lot of dog hair around and also the fridge was not clean. The location does not allow a lot of sunlight in the house so it is rather cold. Furthermore, the house could do with a sign so guests know where the entrance of the Hideaway is.

"Traditional cottage."

Very traditional cottage. Cosy woodburner. Very comfy sofa after a day walking.

Slightly damp smelling when we arrived ( old cottage rainy day) Bamboo needed a trim by door got wet getting in to cottage.

"It was so unique and cosy, I wanted to move in forever."

Loved how cosy and unique it was. Really old characters still there with some modernising.

Nothing at all. Just maybe some more pillows for the bed that’s all but still slept well.
