Casa Scina'

The managing agent Matteo was excellent. As soon as we made him aware of the problems with this property (see below) he arranged an very comfortable alternative and we relocated immediatley to Casa Zummo which was and is an excellent property. He followed up to ensure we were content and also arranged parking for us in a nearby underground park at a reasonable rate.

Casa Scina is dark with no natual light. The upper section which is the main bedroom, is accessed by a 600mm wide steep and winding staircase making taking suitases up there very challenging. If you are taller than 5'8" (172cm) you cannot stand up in the bedroom without hitting your head on metal and timber beams. The property is not suitable for young children with several places where a climibing child could fall and be injured plus sharp edges and corners on glass balustrades. There were faults with the electrical system which meant the oven could not be used (Matteo was arranging to have this fixed in fairness). There is scaffolding up around the property and building works start at around 7.30 am each day with shouting, banging and crashing normal for a building site, and the constant noise of an electric hoist. Obviously this work will be complete one day but in the meantime this is a big issue. There are also adjoining restaurants whose noise can be clearly heard through the walls.

Beautiful modern apartment within walking distance of resturants and sights.

Location was great, the apartment was very.

The living seating was very uncomfortable (at least for older people).

The central location and spaciousness of the apartment. Also great facilities and clean.

Very few windows. LED light in kitchen kept flashing. Some issues with the valet parking service.

The decor was excellent and there was everything that you would need.

An interesting property in the middle of the old city. Close to everything yet amazingly quiet.

In an excellent central location, had all the amenities we needed and very comfortable stay with lots of space.
