Absolutely loved our stay here - again! Close to the fjord, out of town and such a peaceful and quiet place. We got to watch skies filled with stars and the Northern lights, right from the hot tub or veranda! And when a storm was forecasted, the host was so kind to think along and extend our stay, so we wouldn’t have to travel through code orange. Surely we’ll be back here again in one of our next stays.

This was supposed to be the property we were waiting to stay in because of its view that is shown in pictures. However, on arrival we got the biggest shock that Geothermal drilling activity was going on at the same place and that too 24/7. There was not even a moments peace. The owner should mention this as it is clearly a cheating for people who are looking for calm while booking this place. Cottage itself was very average having bare minimum amenities. Bathroom was not good at all having a very small cubicle and old bath fittings. However, we complained to booking.com and they arranged for a refund of our stay as we checked out a day prior to our booking. That was the only saving grace. Else it was a disaster. Dont stay here at all!!!

The views from our cabin were fabulous. Would recommend going to Baccala bar for fish and chips just a few minutes' drive away in Hauganes.

Incredible location on the fjord. Stunning surroundings. Comfortable couch and beds. We enjoyed the hot tub and barbeque grill.

I hit my head a couple of times on the bunk bed which goes across the heads of the main beds. Also easy to trip on the thresholds between rooms.
