Lovely house with plenty of space for our family of 4. Great location with clean comfy bedrooms, lovely decor. It was a lovely stay and we would love to come back.

A fantastic house in the centre of Staithes. Everything within 5 minutes walk and the house was comfy and just what we wanted.

The location was perfect,lovely cottage,plenty of room,very close to the beach and shops

Clean and a peaceful place to chill out

Great location and fully equipped . Very clean and comfortable. Outside area is good to have. Kitchen had everything you need. Bedrooms very nicely decorated and welcoming. Bathroom lovely no major water issues with shower. But its old plumbing so to be expected the pressures are low. Didn’t spoil the break.

Back door was very stiff and front door lock . Luckily we were informed by owner of this . But think it could maybe adjusted. Outside area a little scruffy and lets the property down a bit as the rest is of such a good standard.

Very cosy. Spacious. Good size towels and wonderful shower.

The cottage was a little damp. Couldn't leave food out like crisps and sugar.

Location was great.perfect for are family. Lovely shower and beds were really comfortable. Definitely come back again.

The accomodation was situated right in the town. Very big kitchen and lounge. Good size bedrooms.

The shower on previous reviews it actually comments about shower ever being very hot or to cold when controlling it. The comment back on the review from owner was nothing wrong with the shower. I would agree with review. We stayed in accomodation for three nights and the shower was either boiling to the point it scolding you or turn it just slightly then it was freezing cold. It spoilt our stay as could not shower like that. My mistake I didn't tell the owner till third night and she told me I should have told her straight away. Then the next day on checking it said was nothing wrong with shower. Said as was two different shower heads I could have used wrong controls. There is only one control to control water pressure. So myself and my Auntie and uncle all used the shower . So did use it correctly. It spoilt the stay as there is a bath that you can use but the three of us like showers. The bedrooms heating was all controlled by the property owner so rooms were either very hot or too cold. You contact owner to change heating. But I didn't like that. You had to park your car on the top of the hill in the visitor car park. If you are lucky to get a free space from October to end of February you don't have to pay. The owner providers a permit for other times. But there is limited parking. So is an extra cost of 12 pounds in other car park for 24 hours. This was not explained on the booking. I travelled with my elderly auntie and uncle so was not suitable for them. I would not stay here again.
