Casa do Miradouro

Great location and good restaurant.

The information said the hotel had an elevator but did not say it was only in one building. We were in the other one and in a twin room which was extremely small. It was up some stairs so we had to put clothes into small bags so we could get them up the stairs. It was just as well we used small bags as there would not have been room for two cases anyway. There is also nowhere to sit for a drink if it is not pleasant outside - the “bar” did not seem to be operational.

一軒家まるごとだったので、その地で「生活する」ような気持ちで滞在を楽しむことができました。リビング、キッチンの設備、寝室、シャワールームとお手洗い、全てが清潔できれいに整えられていて、気持ちよく過ごせました。玄関の入り口の植え込みから、インテリアの趣味がとても良くて、オーナーのマリアさんのセンスの良さが際立っていました。屋上のテラスからの眺めが最高で、コーヒーを飲みながら鐘の音を聴いたり、日没の様子を眺めたり、夜は満点の星空を視界を遮ることなく満喫することができ、感動しました。フルーツやコーヒー、お菓子が備えられていて、マリアさんの温かい心遣いが感じられてとても癒されました。ベッドの寝心地も最高で、ぐっすり眠ることができました。途中、マリアさんが家を訪ねて下さったのですが、テラスにいて友達が対応して、私はお会いできませんでしたが、次回訪問した時にはぜひお会いしたいです。モンサントに行くなら、また必ずこちらに滞在したいです。帰りのバス停からも近く、また標識もしっかりあったので、わかりやすい場所でロケーションも最高でした。

強いて言えば、せっかく洗濯機が備わっていたのですが、私にとっては海外製で使い方がわからなかったので、今度は調べて行こうと思います。

Comfortable casa with all facilities, fully stocked kitchen with bonus foodstuffs provided by owner. Such an interesting village. Easy and safe car parking.

Maria was really thoughtful, she provided tea and coffee with biscuits, nuts and fruit. If we had decided to cook, there was a fully fitted kitchen. There was even a washing machine for our use. We had also had an amazing rooftop patio with table and chairs where we could look out over Monsanto. We were able to identify our balcony from every viewpoint in the village.

Located in the centre of the quiet and fascinating medieval town, this property has everything you want and the bonus of your own terrace with a jaw-dropping view. The host, Maria, is very friendly, responsive, and helpful. She provided some great advice and awesome welcome treats. We recommend communicating with Maria as you get close to help guide you in and meet you at the parking. The unit is clean, spacious and has everything you need for your stay (if it’s missing something Maria will get it for you). We stayed only 4 nights but we could have stayed forever enjoying the spectacular sunsets and star lit nights. Our restaurant recommendation: Monsanto Café e Bistro
