The lady owner was helpful and quick to response. I chose the place because it “allows pet”. But I wasn’t aware of the pet policy - that a request had to be made for the pet and an extra €20 would be charged. The lady kindly waived the €20 fees. This is basically a one bedroom ( for one couple and pre teen / teenage kids) little house - One bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed upstairs and an AC. There is a sofa bed in the room next to the bathroom downstairs but it was a little musty and hot (even with a fan). And you have to pass through this room to go to the toilet. Furthermore, the staircase to the upstairs bedroom is not designed for little children/the elderly. So you can really only share this house with your preteen or teenage children (unless you are very sure that you won’t need to use the toilet at night). We went in late July so it was very hot. We didn’t sleep very well even with the Aircon on. I guess in the autumn or winter, this house could be a lot more comfortable. It’s a 5 minutes walk up to the village which was a good little pre/post dinner walk for us. From the little terrace you can enjoy the open view of the plains (but not the lake).

Everything. Gorgeous apartment, exceptional location (parking by the front door), even a terrace with perfect sunset view. Just lovely!

Parking was a little tricky due to other drivers parking in an essential turning spot, not the fault of this accommodation.

Beautiful & quaint, close to Monsaraz and the castle. Very lovely host. Very comfortable bed. Super quiet and relaxing.

Position was ideal, our hostess very welcoming and helpful and the property ideal for travelling with our dogs
