"Highly recommended"

9.0

Excellent location, nice property, and very well maintained. Chris is such a wonderful owner. We spent three nights there. The children loved the house. We spent amazing time. I really recommend this place for families with children, who would like to spend a nice holiday near Loch Lomond. The location is very good to explore the highlands, besides having nice pubs nearby.

I can't think of anything really!

A softer towelling bath mat would have been better, if I’m being picky!

Didn't provide, self catering

Could of been warmer. Big open room downstairs was bit chilly but not unbearable

"Nice. Shame about the smell."

6.0

Our first impression of the cottage was that it was charming, lovely location, beautiful views, spacious.

There was a terrible smell coming from the utility room. Was it kerosene/ turps/LPG? It was all pervasive, particularly pungent at night in the bedrooms. Opening windows didn’t seem to help. There is only one bathroom and it is downstairs. The shower attachment was diabolical. Water sprayed everywhere if you attached to to the wall fitment. We chose not to use the log burner, so relied on the radiators to provide heating downstairs in the large through living/dining room. However only one of the radiators worked so we had to sit wrapped in the fleecy blankets provided in the evening.
