"Great location, really enjoyed our stay. However, cleanliness could have been better."

The location was fantastic for walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, rooms were spacious, had everything you needed….great pub next door!

Front door was a struggle to open/close. There were some damp issues around windows, cleanliness could have been better, it seemed that nobody had stayed for a while, cobwebs, dead insects and hula hoops under bed.

The only criticism we have is we couldn’t figure out the heating & was cold in the evenings, we did find a plug in radiator which very much appreciated

"Great house perfectly located next to the pub."

The house has been very well thought out and is comfortable for a large family. It is perfectly located in the middle of the village, right next to the pub. There are great walks from the village.

There could have been more outdoor furniture.

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location allowing us to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Having the pub and bakery next door was a bonus. Some beautiful walks from the village itself, so we didnt even need to use the car on some days.

This is our second break at the cottage as we enjoyed it so much last year. There is plenty of room in the cottage, enclosed small rear garden and next door to the local pub which is excellent for food and has its own bakery with amazing cakes and bread. Plenty of local walks on your doorstep.

"Wow what a wonderful house which felt like home!"

What a beautiful property that is much bigger on the inside than we thought. Spotless clean with a fabulous log burner. Beds were firm and very comfortable with good quality bedding. There is a set back pub next door, cottage walls are so thick we heard nothing from the outside. Faces a lovely green with some pretty walks just up the road. We loved this house and will visit again.

The garden was up some steps with little room to sit in summer.
