Coastal cottage 'The Garden Cottage '

great location within walking distance of all that Hartland has to offer and easy access to coastal hikes.

Right in the centre of Hartland, with three pubs serving good food and a little takeaway pizza place at the weekend. A great base for exploring locally and further afield. Carnival was on while we were there, which we really enjoyed. Owner and her family were really friendly and helpful. The owner's dog and ducks were entertaining too!

Can be a bit noisy, as it's surrounded by housing, but a great village location.

Lovely little cottage in a nice secluded location. Michelle was very welcoming and advised me on some great places to visit. Nice little treat in the fridge on my arrival which was a nice touch.

steps leading up to garden house are crumbling so need to be repaired bathroom sink doesn’t drain properly and no water running in sink if shower is in use property could do with some general tidying to bring it up to a standard for what you are paying for

good location and very good host. perfect for two. loved the ducks and chickens in the garden. plenty of pubs and places to eat. two good local shops.

Smell in bedroom had to keep spraying with air freshener No sleep noise at 12.30 am 4.30 we had to get up put on lights and look out window untilllads went in then again at 6.15 Tues Night Monday was bearable Tried to book a Travelodge weds but no avail woken again in night Location is Hartland not Bideford so took ages to find Nowhere does it say its behind a red gate had to ask in the village We are 70 /74 ,so thought it eas going to be quiet as a cottage with one bedroom in a pretty garden

it was just what we were looking for.

nothing not to dislike.

The cottage was in the ideal location right in the centre of the village, was nice and cosy, bed was comfy, also nice and peaceful

IThe cottage is Clean, wasn't overkeen on using the shower though, not very clean especially around the screen and could do with a new one i think
