Coastal cottage 'The Garden Cottage '

Very central location in Hartland where it was a short walk to stores and pubs.

Size of bedroom made it difficult to properly hang clothes

I loved the quaint aspect and history of “The Garden Cottage”. Greeted by the ducks and chickens in the garden was very inviting.

The parking was a little tricky as there was no allocated space but fortunately there was a free carpark in the square nearby of which we were lucky to continue to get a space daily when we returned from days out.

Was a bit tired and had a damp smell.

Everything poor quality Very damp, wallpaper peeling Mismatched crockery, no spares Duvet very small, bedding mismatched Only 2 bath towels, no hand towel for the bathroom, no hand soap for the bathroom The shower didn't work There was no hot water Located in someone's garden, and it felt rather intrusive

Much ! Parking difficult-two nights car park and road was full. Bed linen didn't feel fresh and smelt...and so did the mattress. Kitchen missing some basic stuff [small knife, no salt, tea/sugar/coffee tins disgraceful. Garden a mess. Place needed a good clean. Noise - Fridge on wall separating kitchen from bed. There was a couple of nights and an early morning when the smell of 'weed' wafted into the cottage.
