Coastal cottage 'The Garden Cottage '

If you're looking for a clean, comfortable and compact stay this is perfect. Well equipped kitchen and comfy bed. The cream tea was an added bonus, as well as our neighbours - the chicken and duck. We would stay again. Thank you.

We enjoyed the character however if you're looking for somewhere modern then this isn't the place for you.

Quiet location; excellent for two people; the Booking.com description was accurate; the provision of heating at a cold time of year was very adequate. The kitchen equipment enabled us to cook a couple of dishes for Christmas meals with near - bye family members..We enjoyed the hens and the white duck that had the run of the garden.

An extra blanket would have been welcome. The shower worked fine but looked to be needing maintenance in the near future.

It's a great location right in the centre of town, but also nicely tucked away so it felt private and cosy. It is small, but for the two of us this wasn't a problem and added to the quaint/ cosy feeling. Overall very satisfied with the weekend we spent here.

The shower was very loud, presumably for good reason (remedying low water pressure perhaps?). This meant showering wasn't particularly relaxing and we didn't want it turned on for longer than we had to. It was only a shock the first time, and didn't ruin the stay.

Really great location, had everything we needed.

The property was in a good location, easy excess to local amenities and was good for travelling to local places and it was quiet.

Nothing

Parking was way too far from the location, not at all secure. Scaffolding, broken guttering and a lot of rubbish to get through before entering the cottage. Very untidy pathway. Property looked clean but smelt damp. Didn't stay, it wasn't the place for us.
