3Cities Maison close to Valletta

Good location, near buses and ferry to Valletta. Easy to find parking places nearby. Historic town with things to see and shopping. Well equiped with everything you need in the kitchen. There are adaptors in the plugs, that's a good point when you come form the continent. We didn't use much the terrace because of mosquitoes, but it's a good place to rest. No problems with the shower flow.

The fact of being an old building with its charm has some associated problems. The worst thing was to find different centipedes and bugs, they have a lot of places to hide in such building and neighbourhood. So they should do some works to avoid this issue. Considering these downsides, I'm sorry to say that I can't be satisfied with the house.

The location of the apartment was great. It is a few minutes walk to the Marine, and it's easy enough to get there to all the places. The apartment is big enough, the bedrooms are comfortable. The price was very good and Amanda was very nice and helpful.

The facilities are a little bit old and need some renewal. There is only one shower and it is very small, the water pressure is not good.

Great place to stay on Malta as the starting point to visit most of the historic places. Amanda is very nice host, everything was described, we also received a lot of info about nearby places: where to eat, where to go with kids and what else we can do during the day time. If we got any questions about Malta she was happy to answer. And big plus for organizing delivery of our staff we have left in the apartment.

Convenient accommodation location, close to the ferry to Valletta, several affordable restaurants, a local grocery store, and a public parking lot where you always found a parking spot unlike the adjacent streets (although there is a slight incline and a "few" stairs to overcome). Efficient air conditioning, a very pleasant rooftop terrace where we spent most of our time, including watching planes landing around midnight (maybe specific wind conditions, RWY 23, but the whole week :-). Amanda is very pleasant and communicative and is always happy to provide you with enough information. Also, it was our first vacation from which we returned in better physical condition than we had before arriving - the accommodation has three floors, and if you often forget things (on different floors), you'll get plenty of exercise :-).

The bed in the bedroom under the rooftop terrace was unpleasantly creaky even with the slightest movement, and the mattress was too soft - just being placed on the "bed base", it's not easy for larger individuals to sleep on such a bed, they tend to "roll out" if not strategically "propped" :-). As a guest who specifically choose the accommodation for the rooftop terrace (for morning breakfast and evening relaxation), I would suggest moving the spacious refrigerator from the ground-floor kitchen up to the terrace, and placing the small (although very useful) one from above downstairs to the kitchen. But I understand that this is a matter of opinion and personal preferences.

The water pressure in the shower was weak (first floor), although in the kitchen at the ground floor it was very good. Maybe it's the charm of the old house.

Amanda is a wonderful host. She gave us great recommendations, was always in touch and willing to help with absolutely any questions. The accommodation is conveniently located, it was very cozy and pleasant to live in such a traditional Maltese house. We liked it all very much. Cozy, clean and charming. There is everything you need. Thanks for the little things like dishes, tea, etc. The lovely terrace added a sense of local color.

Great authentically house and very nice and helpful owner :) Photos match reality, large roof terrace and lots of stairs. Need to think that the rooms are cooler in the off season. The location is excellent, close to grocery, restaurants and the ferry to Valletta. Worse is the parking near the house, but you can always find a parking space.

Very autenthic old house in Bormla centre with amazing roof terrass even in the winter. Close to several bus stops and Valletta ferry stop. Good restaurants, supermarket and pasticceria very close. Very quiet neighborhood. Helping host.
