Absolutely amazing house, the roof terrace is fantastic, the place is well equipped, beds are comfy.

the whole kitchen equipment was sticky and we had to clean all it is extremely wet, the humidity is very high and as a result the first floor smells very bad and there is a mildew over some wooden parts it is literally impossible to take a shower because of lack of water pressure

The owner Amanda, she was a gemstone. She was amazingly helpful and given us so many information. Rooms were spacious and both bedrooms have 2beds. We could all sleep in a same room. Also it's so easy to get to Valletta.

If you're scared of bugs, you might have some screams. Shower was not great but ok enough to use. Kitchen gadgets are not enough if you want to cook 3courses french dinner.

We LOVED the location. I was worried about not being in Valletta but now I prefer to stay here - the walk to the ferry is along the water, and the ferry is just a beautiful 5 minute ride. the neighborhood is authentic and has a good coffee shop. my children and I loved the stairs, the rooftop and balconies.

Entrance to the apartment right from the street - you must dial the code on the door that the host will leave. The apartments are in the house which is 400 years old, very authentic. But everywhere there are air conditioners. On the ground floor is the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary - it even has an old furnace which burned with wood (we did not understand how to use it). On the second and first floors there are two bedrooms. There is a bathroom on each floor, but there is a shower on the first, and on the second floor there is only a toilet. On the third floor (on the roof) is a beautiful terasse with barbecue and a large table. From the terrace an impressive view of the old city. We recommend that you buy raw fish in a nearby shop "Le Poisson - Fresh Fish & Take Away" and cook it on the grill. You can also buy ready -made food at "MoonDay Turkish Kebab House" or go to one of the many restaurants on the shore of the bay 10 minutes from the apartments. You can get to La Valett in 15 minutes - 5 minutes walk to a ferry, 10 minutes on the way.

It will be uncomfortable for you in the apartment if you are not used to walking a lot on high steep steps of a spiral old stown staircase. A big problem to bring a heavy suitcase on the second, even on the first floor on this staircase. It is very unusual to transfer food from the kitchen on the ground floor to the terrace on the third with this staircase. The windows of bedrooms overlook the courtyards, the kitchen has no windows. In these old apartments, you feel like in a cave.

There was no breakfast,it was self catering. The property was extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need.

It was very noisy during the day as renovations to other properties around us were being conducted. It was very difficult to go up and down the 53 step winding staircase from the kitchen to the terrace at the 4th level. We knew what to expect and managed but no one with a disability or not fit should attempt to stay here. We are in our 80s and because we had been living in the area for 8 days, which is all up and down steps everywhere , we got used to it and managed to navigate the 4 different levels of this home. The best feature of this home is the rooftop terrace. But the main kitchen is at the lowest level. The terrace has some cooking facilities ,toaster,BBQ,small fridge so you can actually prepare meals at the lowest and highest levels but transporting some things up and down 4 levels can be exhausting and somewhat dangerous on the winding stairway.

The location is very convenient to reach the places and beaches. There are lovely restaurants and cafes just around the corner and we received many useful tips from the host as well. The property truly gives you a feeling of the old times. The rooftop terrace was great for evening chilling. However, you have to be ready for a good cardio by going up and down the stairs since every room is located on a different floor.

There is no ventilation in the bathroom (understandable for this type of building) and one shower might be a bit limiting in case of a bigger group of people.
